Facts about the pyramids in Bosnia and Herzegovina
With a height of 220 m
the pyramid of the sun in Bosnia-Herzegovina is much larger than the pyramid of Cheops in Egypt (this is only 138.75 m high today, it used to be 146.59 m). Thus, the sun pyramid in Visoko is currently the largest pyramid in the world.
The age of the pyramid of the sun was dated to 29,400 years by a radio-carbon measurement. So it is currently probably the oldest pyramid in the world (construction of the Great Pyramid began around 2560 BC).
mysterious energy beam
by means of ultrasound measurements (carried out by Prof. Paolo Debertolis - University of Trieste) a strong electromagnetic energy beam was measured at the pyramid of the sun. At a depth of approx. 2440 m, the jet emerges from under the pyramid hill. A larger, probably parabolic metal plate has already been scanned there (diameter approx. 800m). According to the scientists, this object generates electromagnetic waves of exactly 28,300 Hertz, which produce electromagnetic longitudinal waves that are concentrated approx. 15 m above the top of the pyramid. The energy beam has a diameter of approx. 4.5 m and continues to increase in energy towards the top, the further it moves away from the top of the pyramid. Scientists cannot explain this phenomenon to this day. Other scientists and experts such as the physicist Dr. Slobodan Mizdrak, Ph. D. from Croatia, Heikki Savolainen, sound engineer from Finland and Goran Marjanovic, electrical engineer from Serbia came to the same results as Professor Debertolis.

To date it has not yet been scientifically proven how the pyramids were formed. For us it is inconceivable that nature created these pyramids. There are already concrete finds and excavations (e.g. a 22-ton, polished ceramic megalith, several smaller megaliths, underground tunnel systems that connect 3 other pyramids with the largest pyramid - the sun pyramid), etc. However, it is currently scientifically proven enormous energy beam, which moves through the inside of the pyramid of the largest pyramid (Pyramida Sunca) and whose energy increases measurably upwards. Measurement data and phenomena have been scientifically proven, but have not yet been scientifically explained. It remains exciting.

You can find the seminar price and the corresponding early bird discounts on the "Booking" page. The prices include all overnight stays with breakfast for double occupancy in a double room and per person. Single occupancy in a double room as well as single rooms are possible for an extra charge.
The price includes:
all trips from the pension to the pyramids and back, as well as the excursions.
Also included are the entrance fees to the pyramids, dervish house and waterfalls, as well as the tour to Tumulus Hill.

Arrival / departure and airport transfers are also not included in the price. You will receive information / tips on this when you register.
The airport transfer to the guest house and on the day of departure from the guest house to the airport: is not included in the price. However, after consultation and subject to change, you can drive with us directly from the airport to Visoko on Saturday evening, as well as back to the airport late in the morning on the day of departure. For all other arrivals / departures, we will be happy to provide you with further information regarding travel planning and organization.
dress
We recommend very sturdy, flat shoes. Light hiking shoes or very sturdy trainers are best. The paths are sometimes very steep and / or stony. After rain, these paths are sometimes very slippery. Since the weather in Bosnia can sometimes change very quickly, we generally recommend clothing that is suitable for outdoor use (preferably jeans, T-shirt, sweater, sturdy shoes and rain jacket). It should be noted here that it has a constant 12 C in the pyramids. You should definitely bring a water bottle with you in your luggage and if you want, you are welcome to pack a flashlight. I generally recommend pants to women rather than skirts :-).
The food in Bosnia
The traditional, very tasty cuisine offers a lot of fruit and vegetables, as well as fresh grilled meat. Vegetarians are just as important as people who like to eat grilled lamb or beef. Vegans also survive here. The desserts and desserts are also very tasty.

Who can start the trip?
People who have reached the age of 18. Depending on the destination, you should be “good on foot”. However, it is also not a problem to wait somewhere until the majority of the group returns (for example when climbing to the pyramid of the moon). Anyone who is open to and respects other cultures. Anyone who can embark on an adventure. A country in which a lot of things are difficult to plan, although there is always a warm willingness to help if something does not work out so well. A country with contrasts. Even strict non-smokers will remember the times when you were still allowed to smoke everywhere - here, too, “being able to get involved” is required.

Amir and I have been traveling to Bosnia-Herzegovina for several years now and have been able to gather many impressions in various cantons, cities and villages and the people there. For me it is a country where you feel very welcome everywhere.
One has the impression that the hour there is 100 minutes. Some people there say this sentence exactly like that. At first I didn't know that they were living that too. In my experience, when you need help, no matter what, the answer is almost always " nema problema " (no problem). At first, of course, I was skeptical - what might this answer mean? Here too - the phrase "no problem" is always lived and only possible in some way. This challenges us to rethink and to trust more. It works! And that is a wonderful experience.
Many people in Bosnia live in poor conditions. Be it because of the war or the floods that shook the country. Yet they want to share what little they have. This is a matter of course in Bosnia - at least that is my experience to this day. Diving into the wounds of war or political matters makes some encounters difficult. With what happened there, that's no wonder. One should not poke around in wounds that have not yet fully healed. Since many people were in Germany during the war, some of them also speak our language.
Bosnia is also a land of contrasts. Wonderful people, unspeakably beautiful nature, wonderful food, different religions. Sarajevo, for example, is not called the "Jerusalem of Europe" for nothing. Social togetherness takes place. Time for a cup of coffee and a cigarette is everywhere and people take the time to chat. Certainly this is sometimes easier there than here, because there are hardly any paid jobs. Nevertheless, everyone in Bosnia always has something to do. At least that's how we experienced this country and we are thrilled.
Brief information on currency and prices in Bosnia-Herzegovina:
Currency = convertible mark (colloquially called "mark" in Bosnia)
The relationship to the euro is also the same as to our old DM.
For our income situation, the prices in the rural regions are relatively cheap. So you pay the equivalent of 50-60 ct for a Bosnian coffee, a pack of cigarettes around € 1.70, the gasoline prices are similar to ours. For example, a portion of cevapcici in flatbread is around € 2-3. The price for a taxi from Sarajevo to Visoko is around 30.- to 40.- €. In Sarajevo or in Medjugorje it doesn't look so cheap in terms of prices. Sometimes even rather expensive. This information is of course without guarantee, but is based on our experience during the stays there.

The solstice celebration is always something very special. It becomes even more mystical when you can experience it in places like pyramids, Stonehenge or other ancient cultural sites.
